Job Description:
Seeking an Integration Engineer who has a strong understanding of IHE profiles and HL7 specifications. Acts as a resource in the integration objectives of the organization, and creates functional interfaces that allow for "real time" and "batch" data transfers leveraging their knowledge of the standards, and the requirements and capabilities of the clients systems. Additionally understands and appreciates clinical information technology; its capabilities, limitations, and impact on clinical practice.
Required
• 4-5 years creating interfaces in a clinical environment.
• Ability to understand business requirements and implement interfaces
• Capable of interacting with multiple vendors and envisioning the "whole solution"
Preferred
• Knowledge of HL7 and IHE
