Position: Java Developer

Location: New York, NY

Duration: 9 month

Rate: $460/ per day

 

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Four to seven years experience developing database-driven, web applications in Java
  • 2 years experience with AJAX development (YUI, JQuery, EXT-JS, etc)  IS MANDATORY. Experience with Sencha ExtJS a strong plus

Additional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, EE, or related field
  • Experience developing high-performance systems and web sites (caching, performance, messaging, serialization, etc)
  • Experience in financial services or other large enterprises a strong plus
  • Experience with Agile development a plus
  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas and technical decisions

  Applicant must meet MOST of these requirements.   Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Work with project managers and/or clients to scope work and produce estimates to help define deliverables and timelines
  • Build browser based rich internet application components
