Job Description

 

Ø  Testing Managed Services Lead: Testing Center of Excellence (TCoE) Managed Services lead provides the leadership needed to support projects under a Managed Services Agreement.

Ø  This is a high visibility position that has a significant level of impact to the TCoE organization and its clients.

Ø  The Lead must have a service oriented disposition and the capacity to effectively manage time and personnel, while also demonstrating effective communication skills and maintaining client relationships.

Ø  The chosen candidate must have a proven track record of successfully implementing outcome/results driven innovative ideas within an organization.

 

Duties and Responsibilities: Experience leading IT testing service delivery in an onsite/offshore managed service model:

 

Ø  Create key deliverables such as: Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Status Reports and Defect Management

Ø  Manages the resources assigned to the applications to allow applications to be delivered

Ø  Knowledgeable of Cardinal standard testing tools

Ø  Proficiency in testing automation practices/processes is strongly desired

Ø  Knowledgeable of SAP is a plus

Ø  Proficient in industry standards with respect to testing and testing metrics with the ability to effectively introduce/communicate these standards into current and future applications/processes.

Ø  Proficient in Software Development Life Cycle (i.e. Software Delivery Process, Sustain/Maintain Release to Production, Accelerated SAP)

Ø  Experience in FDA (Food and Drug Administration) Validation Process is a plus



2. We have an urgent opening for SAP Test lead: Mandarin preferred

 

Location – SAN JOSE, CA

 

Duration – 6 months

 

 

Job Description

 

Responsibilities:

 

Ø  Provide leadership to the Quality Assurance team, including defining policies, procedures and practices.

Ø  Maintain awareness of system changes and Quality Assurance and technological advancements, as well as actively pursue process improvement opportunities.

Ø  Manages the delivery and support of QA services through QA methodology. Accountable for the development of release Test Plan and the post implementation report.

Ø  Oversees the project testing plans and implements changes for efficiencies within or between projects.

Ø  Prepare test estimates and test project schedules. Responsible for the overall resource management within the department. Track the execution of the release testing schedule.

Ø  Responsible for the release defect management. Reports release defect information. Guides through resolution and calls attention to priority issues. Responsible for preparing the final go/no go release recommendation.

Ø  Serve as an escalation path for QA Production Support activities.

Ø  Set standards, metrics and best practices for the QA team.

Ø  Works with management to define the QA strategy and ensures alignment to business objectives

Ø  Review requirements and specification to identify potential risks to quality, identify ambiguities or omissions, and ensure testability. Work with project team to recommend and implement steps to mitigate identified risks.

Ø  Ensure team adherence to established standards and methodologies. Develop and sustains appropriate relationship with peers and other project team members.

Ø  Mentors less experienced Team Players on QA best practices and methodology.

 

Required Skills:

Ø  Strong sense of quality and attention to detail.

Ø  The ability to form durable work relationships, use of good judgment and the ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce.

Ø  Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Ø  Training on project management or equivalent knowledge.

Ø  57 years experience in Quality Assurance.

Ø  35 years experience of software testing lead experience.

Ø  Proven ability, vision and skills to lead a team towards specific goals in a rapid changing environment. Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities.

Ø  Good judgment and the ability to work effectively with a diverse workforce.

Ø  Experience with system development lifecycle. Extensive knowledge and work experience of test engineering methodologies.

Ø  Working knowledge of testing concepts, verification and validation techniques, defect management, quantitative methods, risk management and measurement programs. Working knowledge of defect tracking, quality principles and testing tools.

Ø  Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong analytical, problem solving and planning ability. Detailed oriented and observant. Ability to multi task to accomplish workload efficiently. Excellent time management.

Ø  Ability to interact and influence clients, team members, various levels of management and external groups. Experience negotiating with business partners and external vendors.

Ø  Understanding of various technologies, relational database principles, client/server infrastructure, and ntier architecture concepts.

Ø  Working experience with risk management, statistical analysis, quality assurance and quality control practices.

Ø  Proficiency in Mandarin preferred, to work with off-shore QA teams in China.
