JOB Description: NSN RIC Engineer

 

Location: Dallas TX

 

Skills:

 

·         Remote integration supporting activities performed via NetAct on the following - WBTS ,AXC, SAXC, RNC,BTS,BSC

·         Creating and integrating base stations, XML uploads and using Nokia Plan Edit/Nokia CM Editor

·         Support E2E Transmission test activities carried out by the Field Teams.

·         RIC data fill support

·         Receive WBTS/AXC data-fills from network planners

·         Creating graphical alarm views in NetAct for monitoring purposes.

·         Downloading all needed software to sites.

·         Exporting Configuration files from WBTS/AXC for back up.

·         Remote troubleshooting support for NodeB's for faults that occurs during the rollouts

·         Troubleshooting related to integration failures and escalation as required.

·         Troubleshooting and/or escalating issues related to Operational Acceptance Handover.

·         Complete system health checkup on daily basis for all the Nokia servers

·         Full system ignite & offline backup (tape & disk backup) on monthly/weekly basis.

·         Management & Handling of UNIX servers (rp4440) and Windows 2003 servers including troubleshooting related to software & maintenance.

·         Integration of the network elements (BSC, MSC/MSS, MGW, HLR, SGSN, ROUTERS) into OSS.

·         Ensuring the entire network element are functioning smoothly including Alarms, PM data, configuration management

·         Coordinating with Installation teams for installation and initial system start-up and configuration

·         Installation of the OSS software and OSS change deliveries

·         Provide the internal and external customer with accurate solutions for Operational issues with Nokia Netact product, based on in depth analysis, in the agreed timeframe with high quality to ensure "first time right

·         Emergency handling: take over the role of the technical responsible of the case until the problem is solved or problem is escalated to R&D teams

·         Local CIT/customer support: field activities (customer acceptance tests, trials, pilot projects)

·         Configure, deploy, test and document the solution on customer premises. Perform upgrade of existing customer solutions.

·         Gather and Specify system requirements on solutions and prepare the plan for solution deployment.

Roles:

 

·         Work as a RIC consultant for Network Operations Centre (NOC) support

·         Provide daily report per project for each activity to Manager / Program Manager and/or Customers

·         Strive to work as per the required SLAs set by the client
